The Spell music soundtrack nearing completion
I’ve almost finished the scoring to ‘The Spell’ (Carey Films Ltd) and it’s looking like an exciting project to have been a part of (and damned hard work!).
There will be a screening of ‘The Spell’ to cast, crew and others involved in making the production happen at the end of February at the Northern Film School in Leeds.
I’m still finishing off a few music cues and have one more song to write! Hopefully, it will be all done by mid February at which point it will be submitted to the Edinburgh Film Festival, the first of more than 50 film festivals to which the film will be submitted during 2009.
The fim has also been chosen by Screen Yorkshire to receive support for participation at Miptv in Cannes at the end of March. It has also secured support from UK Trade & Investment for this purpose and will promoted to television buyers from around the world. The film will be part of the UK Indies stand run by PACT and will therefore have a good level of visibility in the market.
Also, ‘The Spell’ is booked for the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Keep checking back for updates on the progress of the film
Alan
